Ruby ~ AQHA Register Palomino Mare

Ruby is a 7 yr old palomino mare.  She’s registered AQHA, 14.2 hands and would be ideal for a
youth rider looking to move up and win some ribbons.  She would also be nice for a small adult
who wants to trail ride.  We’ve owned her for 3 years, and she's doing everything the Clinton
way. Good ground manners, gives to pressure left and right, breaks at the poll, backs, side
passes, and can do lead changes and spins.  Stops good, but is not built to slide stop.  Bathes, clips,
ties, loads and has been hauled everywhere.  Great on the trail, has been on two horse camping
trips and other trails.  Absolutely no disposition problems even when in heat.  Will wait for the
right home.  We have absolutely no problems with Ruby and she’s adorable – lessons from Jill
Olson are included if the buyer is interested. Asking $3,800. More pics available upon request.

FANNY

Shamrock Fanfare was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Froehlicher of Shamrock Farm in Paso Robles, CA.
She is out of Seamair Eclipse (Sire) and Findeln Minuet (Dam). She a is 21-year old registered
Welsh pony who is about 13.2 hh and 800 lbs.  She is great on trails.  She has beautiful springy
moves, so she can be bumpy. She will make a great 4-H pony for the right 4-H’r. However, she
would NOT make a good school horse. She has personality and attitude. She does not need shoes
in normal circumstances and she only needs 2/3 of what an average horse eats.  She enjoys
getting attention, but she is not needy. She is sound and sturdy. Clips, ties, & hauls without any
problems. Fanny had two wonderful colts in the past out of a quarter horse. I was told both her
pregnancies were very smooth. She had no issues during the pregnancy or birth. She has been
trained as a driving horse in the past and using the Parelli method. She is also comfortable in the
Western saddle. No information is available to me in regards to any western training, but she
does have a western pony attitude. Asking $250 or donation to the perfect 4-H home. Home will
be inspected before letting her go. Please email
sjyoon@unr.edu for more information.
